A Grassroots Halloween

Happy Belated Halloween!!!!

Because of my obsession with the polar bear rap video that CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER and JOEL DAVID MOORE made, I dressed up as a rapper for Halloween as promised…BUT, sadly, my costume was weak, nobody knew what I was! I went out in my neighborhood West Hollywood: where all the weirdos come together.  West Hollywood is notorious for the yearly Halloween Monster Party that shuts down Santa Monica Blvd!  I was on a mission to find someone dressed as a polar bear but mostly i saw Snookis and The Situations.  I did however, find a gay couple dressed as a pig and a bear holding hands (or maybe it was a reindeer?) look at my picture and tell me what you think.  The random nun with a beer crashed the photo.

Now that Halloween is over, you guys are probably posting and tagging your Halloween Facebook albums, so make sure to send us pictures of your costumes to info@grassrootsthefilm.com or you can upload them directly to our FACEBOOK page!  And while you’re at it, if you’re an aspiring filmmaker don’t forget about the MAKE YOUR OWN INFORMERCIAL contest.  Details are all on our Facebook page.  The MAKE YOUR OWN INFOMERCIAL contest voting started on Monday!  So make sure to send your infomercial to us as soon as you can to get more votes.  Speaking of voting, as I’m sure you are all aware, yesterday was a BIG day in politics.  I hope everyone voted!  I’m just glad that those “this message is endorsed by” ads are going to be over soon. Apparently JASON BIGGS and JOEL DAVID MOORE are over those ads too look for a video by them coming soon!  And for any aspiring politicians, check out the video we posted where DC PIERSON breaks down how you can run your own Grassroots campaign!

So be sure to check out our Facebook page for GRASSROOTS updates, contest information and what other GRASSROOTS fans rocked as costumes for Halloween!

Dee, your costume wasn’t weak, it was so cute!

  2. Steven j. Frank says:

Haha, This looks great! I was actually down at Santa Monica too, I went as the Madhatter, but I loved seeing the new Tron Costumes. This contest sounds fun, my team and I are going to get ready.

  3. Marsha says:

I live in the valley, so no real Halloween action there. I obviously missed out! You’re cute and your animal friends look very cuddly. The nun, however, is a little creepy! Great idea for a contest – I’m definitely in. Thanks Dee!

  4. Tone says:

    Farmand for President 2012!
